HENRY/PANTRY - 1 person

This shift is to be completed between 1:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. M-Sat.  This shift will also have a discretionary time commitment that is based on when the orders are delivered.

Daily

  1. Dispose of grease can under the utility sink in the kitchen.  This needs to be done whether the can is full or not. Replace with new can.

  2. Wash the counter top in the pantry with warm water and soap.

  3. Make sure all food items are stored in Tupperware.  Check for open containers and cover or store them properly.  Be sure to label containers with the food name and date.

  4. Discard breakfast, dessert and bread late plates items that are more than 3 days old.  Wash, dry, and put away the containers from dessert or bread.

  5. Check bread for mold, and throw away any old bread.

  6. Keep the food stocks and pots and pans neat and organized on the shelves. 

  7. Unpack and put away all the food, produce and supplies delivered within 4 hours of the time they items were delivered (unless it is a frozen delivery and that needs to be put away immediately).  Don’t forget to check Henry for deliveries there.  The SHD can give you an idea when deliveries will be coming.  It is important that you stay on top of this so that the deliveries don’t interfere with other shifts.

  8. Break down and recycle all empty boxes in Henry. Waxed boxes are not recyclable and must be thrown away.

  9. Empty and reline the trash can in Henry.  Also make sure that you empty the dehumidifier.  THIS PART OF THE SHIFT MUST BE COMPLETED DAILY.

  10. Wipe off the computer tables thoroughly.

  11. Clean computer screens and tops of computers with a paper towel that has been sprayed with glass cleaner.  DO NOT SPRAY ANY PART OF THE COMPUTER WITH GLASS CLEANER.

  12. Vacuum the floor in Henry.

  13. Clean the  cereal bins with hot soapy water (be careful to rinse thoroughly). Make sure milk fridge is neat and clean.

Weekly on Mondays

  1. Organize and maintain organization of all cleaning supplies, etc on the shelves in Henry.

  2. Replace the computer sign up sheet for the previous week with the one for the next week.  There should always be two weeks worth of sheets on the clipboard.  Be sure to put the dates on the top of the Days of the Week.

  3. Clean out the trashcan using a solution of Final Stage and water and reline.
